Marcel Scheel, Director of Community Management, brings more than 30 years of experience in the property management industry to the organization. Marcel is responsible for managing and training a team of community managers as well as business development, training, and education. He is recognized for his ability to manage large-scale projects and set reasonable financial strategies for his clients.

Marcel’s emphasis on fostering relationships and delivering results while nurturing leadership, growth, and protecting maximum equity has served him well during his three-decade career in the industry. In the first decade of his career, he worked with REITs as a property manager and national trainer before moving into common interest community management. It was there he found his passion, working with new developments, high-rise, mixed-use, master associations, and garden-style communities.

Marcel is a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and holds the Accredited Residential Management (ARM®) accreditation. He is an active member of the Community Associations Institute (CAI) and has served on the Legislative Action Committee in the Washington State Chapter of CAI. He also enjoys presenting on various topics to educate board members, homeowners, and industry professionals.

Born in Washington, Marcel enjoys spending his free time with family and friends, gardening, fishing, camping, traveling, and watching his daughter advance in martial arts.
